The Procedure
It should take roughly 30 minutes to complete your dermal filler treatment. While there may be some mild discomfort with the procedure, sedation or General anesthesia is not required, which allows patients to avoid harmful side effects and prolonged recovery times.
First, the targeted areas are marked. Next, Dr. Massey injects one or more syringes of dermal filler into your skin, depending on the regions being treated.
Aftercare
Dr. Massey will allow you to resume normal activities immediately after Restylane injections. Temporary minor swelling, redness, soreness, or bruising, may occur after filler treatment. Intermittent use of ice packs will help mitigate these side effects if they occur.
When Will I See Results?
Dermal filler treatment produces immediate results. People generally report being very satisfied with their treatment results, which typically last about six to eight months. After this time, patients can return for maintenance treatments.
